Fun, and sexy
Review by lauriebeemer74 Sep 28, 2017
This is the first book that I have read by Blair McDowell and I enjoyed it tremendously. She has a way with words, they flow beautifully and build an amazing story. The way that she connects Colin, Aristotle, and Caitlin and describes their individual relationships as well as the individual relationships makes this book a very enjoyable read. Thank you NetGalley and Blair McDowell for letting me read and review this book.

One long chase, filled with suspense at every turn.
Review by jeepwonder Sep 19, 2017
I have to say up front, I was sucked into the story and loved the book from the very opening pages. The good guys were really nice, and the bad guys were evil. The dance between the two was carefully played out in a way that kept the pace and action moving along nicely. The story was not formulaic, it had plenty of surprises and twists and turns. But characters did play their parts reliably. The plot was interesting, I've wondered and I'm sure I'm not the only one that has been curious about … Read More

Fatal Charm is the latest novel by Blair McDowell. Caitlin Abernathy is a jeweler in San Francisco, California. She is on her way to an important appointment when she is accosted by two men. They steal her jewelry case with her samples. Caitlin is surprised when police come to her studio. She is told that her boyfriend, Allen Thompson is dead. Who would want to hurt an accountant? Caitlin is in her store when Dr. Colin Stryker arrives. He needs a gift for his mother and Caitlin’s assistant, … Read More

Excellent

This is a book that once started, you don't want to put down until finished and even then, you want so much more. I was really disappointed when I came to the end, I fell in love with the characters and the twists and turns just kept popping up and what I loved the best was that you had no idea what was coming in the end. It was brilliant, there was one moment at about 95% and when I read it, I thought you have got to be kidding me, is that it? But it wasn't, and I was ecstatic. This was a great … Read More

Politicians and law enforcement may head butt every so often, but what happens when a husband is in politics and the wife is in law enforcement?

My real question for this story is why have I never read Ms. Force before? Her name is familiar to me and I thought about reading her books and somehow always shied away. Ms. Force is now on my list to auto read. I really enjoyed this book. Even though I started this series on book number eleven, it was easy for me to get up to speed. I may have enjoyed this book even more if I started with the first book in the series. Still, this book can be read as a standalone. The plot development … Read More

Well written, thought provoking and endearing, Ms. Eden knocks a reader off their feet.
Review by lacrimsonfemme Aug 16, 2017
This is the second book in the series. Full disclosure, I read this book out of order. This book can be read as a standalone. I have read Ms. Eden's books before. Mostly, I tried her paranormal romance and enjoyed it. I tried her contemporary years ago and it fell flat. Not sure what to expect, I picked this book up. I am so glad I did. The growth in Ms. Eden's writing voice and plot development is impressive. From the very first page of this story, I'm hooked in. This is a page turner … Read More

breathtaking
Review by lauriebeemer74 Aug 21, 2017
I must say that this was a truly riveting book. This is the first time that I have read a book by TL Alexander, and I am disappointed in myself that I missed out on such great writing. The author has an amazing way with words that makes the reader feel like they are actually witnessing everything that has occurred in person. There are some very serious issues covered in this book and it was written in such a way that crying, laughing, and screaming were prominent in my hours of reading. The situation … Read More

Island mystery
Review by DivaC Mar 6, 2017
Had action, adventure and an unexpected mystery right from the start and an unexpected romance between two people who wouldn’t have met under any circumstances. But do meet unexpectedly. You like the intrigue, the way the story unfolds and flowed and the wit that shone through. So if you get a chance and want a little getaway that has a little steam, action intrigue and adventure, pick up a copy and enjoy.

wonderful trip

Review copy provided via Reading Alley in exchange for an honest review. I have never been to the Amalifi Coast. Sure want to go there. Ms. Page writes a wonderful love/suspense story as well as a great travel guide. Adamo and Eve, the two main characters, have a lot to learn from each other to ensure their relationship will last. It is intriguing as they take steps to accomplish this. It is a well-written suspenseful love story. Can't wait to read more. Thank you for the opportunity to read this … Read More

An Accident or Murder?
Review by kimhiding Jul 23, 2017
Just when she makes a new start in Denver, Colorado, Jane Marsh finds a man dead next to the construction site of her new home. The mystery begins in the first few pages and keeps the action moving. I finished the book in two days as the suspense and suspects increased. Whalen created characters were developed and intriguing. She has an easy to read, straight forward style without revealing too much or too little about the suspects and their motives.
