Summary
When hotel inspector, Tallulah Thompson, is called in along with her pug, Franny, to investigate renovation delays, she meets an extremely annoyed and dapper turn-of-the-century innkeeper. The only problem is he’s in limbo, neither dead nor alive, and Tallulah and the pug are the first to see him in a hundred years. Cursed by a medicine woman, “Love ‘em and Leave ‘em Lucius” Stewart is stuck between worlds until he finds his true love and gives her his heart. When he first sees Tallulah, he doesn’t know what he’s feeling. Yet, her stunning beauty, and feisty attitude pull him in. With the fate of Hotel LaBelle on the line, Tallulah with the help of a powerful medicine woman turns Lucius back into a flesh and blood man. She and Lucius team up to save the hotel, but Tallulah can't help but wonder if he will ever let go of his past love and learn to love again.

“Don’t you have a long, dark tunnel to go into and a light to follow?”
Dec 18, 2016
“The haunting of hotel labelle” is a unique paranormal story, far from the usual ghost plot, this book’s hero instead of being a lost soul who can’t move on after his death, is a living person stuck in between worlds because of a curse that happened almost a hundred years ago. The heroine was also not your average person thanks to her spiritual powers and the special gift she has of seeing lost souls wandering in the hotels she visits to restore. I liked the chemistry Tallulah and Lucius Read More

AN OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD AND A-CENTURY-LATE LOVE STORY IS SOLID!
Nov 3, 2016 (Edited Nov 6, 2016)
The Haunting of Hotel LaBelle evidently deserves five stars. The out-of-this-world and a-century-late love story between a clairvoyant and independent woman, Tallulah and a supposed-to-be-living soul, Lucius just gets better and better, page after page. The story was told magnificently in a well-imagined pace. The scenes were also described stunningly which made me want to pop in the story and experience the class of Hotel LaBelle, setting aside the paranormal activities. I was able to relate Read More

Thank you for your kind words! I appreciate your recognition of my research, as I spend almost as much time on background as I do on writing. I'm so glad you enjoyed the story and spending time with Franny and my other characters. :) The book will go live soon. If you have time, I'd love it if you could post your review on Amazon. Thanks!!

MUST READ: A soul finally met his mate!
Nov 11, 2016
An awesome paranormal love story! When I read the first pages of the book, I thought it was predictable. But when I read it pages after another, I was confused, and excited! It is very original, the settings, extra characters like Emma, Bert, Wil, Otterlegs and specially Franny! I like them! The story is keen in histories and backgrounds that makes it more electrifying to read. The job of Tallulah as a savior of hotel and soul led her to her soul mate who born in 1870s. The magical tale and the Read More

Exciting Paranormal Romance!!
Oct 29, 2016
This paranormal romance blew my mind! The setting was perfectly described, and the work Tallulah does at the hotel tells you the author knows what she's talking about. Same with the paranormal side of things. It's a very solid, well thought out and researched story! I really appreciate when authors take the time to sit down and look into the complex themes they decide to write about. Anyway, Tallulah comes to Hotel Labelle for an inspection to decide the fate of this old hotel. What she finds is Read More

A keeper
Sep 23, 2016
This is my kind of book. The protagonist is smart for one thing. But the plot twists were really original. It kept me guessing. This is not just a ghost story. I received an advance reader's copy, but I am only too happy to review this one. It's a keeper and I hope it will give birth to a series.

YEA! No Monsters!
Sep 17, 2016
This had a wonderful romantic love-through-the-ages feel to it that only a GOOD paranormal can have. No, there were no vampires or werewolves, just a Ghost stuck between two worlds who can only be seen by the hotel inspector (who falls for said Ghost). Tallulah is hired by the current owner to help fix the Historic Hotel Labelle. It seems the construction crew (and fewer guests) leave the white plastic Ikea bedrooms citing strange occurences as the problem. Upon touring the hotel with a collection Read More

Needs more than 5 stars
Sep 7, 2017
Sharon Buchbinder has done it again, this book was awesome. Who doesn't love a romance with ghosts and other psychic abilities included in it? What starts out as a simple job restoring a old hotel because something that may change Tallulah's life forever. She goes for a simple job but instead becomes involved in a mystery. This was a great addition to the works of Sharon Buchbinder. Thank you Reading Alley and Sharon Buchbinder for allowing me to read this book and write a honest review.

Frozen In Time
Jun 5, 2017
After reading the summary on this book I was not entirely convinced that it would turn to be a great read. However, I am glad to admit my haste judgment. Lucius Stewart put everything he owned into the hotel and was very much in love. The woman he loved was from the Crow Indians and her name was Mourning Dove. In their culture the men lived with the women, but Lucius wasn't ready to leave his hotel. One night the Crow Medicine Woman, who happened to be the mother, came to let him know his selfishness Read More
