Q: Where did you get the inspiration for this story?
The idea for this story came to me early on in the series when Ranger was first introduced. I liked the idea of him being with a cop, someone who is essentially his enemy.
Q: Crossroads is a story in the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club series. What connects all the books together?
What connects the books together is the relationship between characters, friendships and the different situations that bring them together.
Q: Please share a fun fact or behind the scenes experience when you were researching/writing this book.
I changed Jo's name about three or four times.
Q: Your Wind Dragons MC series are not your typical MC stories. Yes, there's a club atmosphere and some elements of danger, but for the most part, your characters are sweet, sexy and rough around the edges. What made you decide to write the softer side of MC genre?
I think that is just me, and my style of writing. I like funny, and I like sweet and sexy, and the books just turned out that way. My characters lead the story for me, so it wasn't exactly a conscience decision to turn the series into a certain way, it's just how it ended up! :)
Q: I really liked that Ranger was uncertain about where his place was in the Wind Dragons MC since he came from another club. Instead of forcing him to become an integral part of the MC, you instead kept him slightly removed from the group. Why did you choose to separate him from the primary series setting of the club?
To me, Ranger just felt like he never truly fit in. Talon fits in with the WDMC because of all his ties to them, but Ranger's only tie is to Talon.
Q: Human trafficking is a seriously scary thing. What kind of research did you do for writing this element of the story?
I did most of my research online, and read a few articles on the topic.
Q: What's up next for you?
I'm writing a new sexy series that will be announced very soon :)
